Plenty More Fish In The Sea
I'm drowning slowly in a river of tears
Choking on memories of forgotten years
Weighed down by nightmares I can't survive
There's only dreams of love to keep me alive
Then I see you on the side fishing for love
And I try to catch the heart that dangles above
But I can't reach it, it's slightly too high
So please lower it a little before I die
I welcome this chance with open arms
And I'm dazzled by your smouldering charms
So reel me in and fill me with desire
Take a match to my heart and light my fire
What are you doing, don't play around
My feet aren't yet firmly on the ground,
Don't leave me like this the line will break
What must I say to you, what will it take
Don't be hasty take time to think
If you throw me back in I'll surely sink
What's that snap; oh no it's the thread
Now it's too late because my heart is dead
