There is no affection you do not care
Oblivious to the presence that yearns to be seen
And I wonder about how things could have been

I give you support when you're struggling through
And I'm there to help when you don't know what to do
I put your feelings first above my own
And I listen to your worries and never moan

My feelings get trampled and cast aside
And many a night I've sat and cried
You have no empathy towards my plight
And I'm slowly giving up the will to fight

You don't think about me when we're apart
And you don't care that you've broken my heart
You don't even realise the extent of my pain
As you slowly pour my love down the drain

My love isn't blind but I don't want to see
That you give nothing back to me
I know in my heart I wouldn't be missed
To you I am ghost, I don't exist
