False Prophets

Back

We stand in the name of religion and preach
To the weak and naive our hands we reach
Our world is righteous and you will see the light
For our beliefs are true and our words will excite

The gods have spoken and will lead the way
Through our divine guidance you'll do as they say
We'll twist their meaning to suit our needs
And use your lives to commit evil deeds

All in the name of our religious beliefs
For you are the followers and we are the chiefs
We'll fight against the oppressive West
It's their fault anyway for all this unrest

Deflecting the attention from our true goal
To rule like dictators with total control
Governing all with violence and fear
Those who oppose will disappear

We'll rape and pillage and do as we please
We'll bring towns and villages to their knees
Spreading our bile like a rabid infection
Justified by a cloak of religious deception

We preach words of hate against those who doubt
And deceive the ones who stand devout
For we are false prophets, our words are a lie
And in the name of religion people shall die
